Suspect Wanted in Hit and Run; White GMC Envoy
San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the California Highway Patrol are asking for assistance from the public to help identify and locate a suspect wanted for a hit and run that caused serious injuries to the victim.
Investigators said on July 10, 2013, at approximately1:35 p.m., the driver of a white GMC Envoy was harassing another motorist while driving on the freeway. During the altercation, the driver of the Envoy deliberately struck the victim vehicle while traveling I-805 southbound north of Palomar St. The victim vehicle, a gray Mustang Cobra, was run off the road by the impact, struck a guardrail, and caused serious injuries to the driver. The driver of the GMC Envoy may have stopped at the scene, but fled before CHP Officers arrived.
The suspect vehicle was described as a white GMC Envoy, unknown model year, unknown license plate. The GMC Envoy would likely have sustained minor damage to the passenger side of the vehicle as a result of the impact between the two vehicles; possibly having gray paint transferred onto the damage.

The suspect was described as a black male with a thin build, having braided hair.

Suspect Wanted in Felony Hit and Run; Victim Sustained Serious Injuries
San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the San Diego Police Department’s Traffic Division are asking for assistance from the public to help identify and locate a suspect wanted in a felony hit and run. Detectives said on January 15, 2014, at approximately 6:00 a.m., the victim was riding his motorcycle eastbound Mercy Road in the number one lane. As he reached the intersection of Scripps Poway Parkway and the I-15 northbound off ramp, he entered the intersection with a green light. According to a witness, the suspect vehicle, a white Honda Civic hatchback, was exiting northbound I-15 and approached Scripps Poway Parkway on a red light. The suspect vehicle accelerated through the red light in front of the eastbound motorcycle. The victims’ motorcycle struck the driver’s side of the Honda Civic causing the victim to be ejected from his motorcycle. The victim sustained major injuries. The suspect vehicle fled the scene and re-entered the northbound I-15 freeway.
Witnesses described the suspect vehicle as a white early 2000’s Honda Civic Hatchback. The vehicle possibly had tinted windows, dark rims, and a roof rack. The suspect’s driver’s side mirror was left at the scene; detectives believe there should be noticeable damage to the driver’s side of the vehicle.
Further investigation of items left at the scene indicates the vehicle is a Honda Civic between the years 2001 and 2004.
