On Saturday, June 8, 2013, at approximately 1:09 p.m. the Wells Fargo Bank, located at 610 First Avenue, San Diego, California, was robbed by an unknown male. At the time of the robbery, the robber entered the bank, approached the victim teller and feigned to be interested in conducting other banking business. As the victim teller was attempting to respond to the robber’s question, the robber presented a demand note for cash. The robber made several verbal demands for cash and threatened to shoot the teller, if he did not get any money.
Throughout the robbery, the robber held a cell phone to his right ear giving the appearance that he was talking to someone on the phone. After receiving a sum of money the robber fled the bank and was last seen northbound on First Avenue.
Witnesses describe the robber as follows: Sex: Male Race: Black or Hispanic Height: Approximately 5’8” to 6’0”tall Weight: Approximately 150 lbs. Eyes: Green Age: Mid 30’s Clothing: Gray hooded sweatshirt with black and white stripes, baseball cap plaid shorts, white socks with “SD” and dark shoes
