Lynn Dale Bell Murder-12 Year Anniversary

Detectives said on June 15, 2001, Lynn Bell, a 16 year old Lincoln High School student, was waiting at a bus stop near the entrance to the Willie Henderson Sports Complex located in the 4600 block of Logan Avenue in the Mountain View community of San Diego, California. A male approached Bell on foot and fired several shots at Bell. Bell was struck and died from his injuries. A female who was playing in the nearby park was also struck in the face by a bullet. The female later recovered from her injuries.
