Missing Rings Linked To The Murder of Blanche Griffin

San Diego County Crime Stoppers and the San Diego Police Department Homicide Unit continue to look for leads in the murder of Blanche Griffin.

On Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at approximately 2:37 p.m., patrol officers responded to a 911 call of a female down inside of a residence in the 2800 block of F Street. When officers and fire personnel entered the home, they located the victim, later identified as 87-year-old Blanche Griffin. Mrs. Griffin was deceased and appeared to have suffered trauma to her body.

The preliminary investigation has revealed that Mrs. Griffin was murdered and several pieces of her jewelry are missing. Also missing is a silver Dell desktop computer, model 745.
