Up to $1,000 Reward Offered
San Diego County Crime Stoppers along with investigators from the San Diego Police Department’s Robbery Unit are asking for the public’s help in locating an unknown suspect wanted for a commercial armed robbery of the Denny’s restaurant located in the City Heights area of San Diego.
On April 16, 2018, at 5:35 a.m., an adult male suspect walked into the Denny’s restaurant located at 4365 University Avenue, in San Diego. The suspect approached an employee and asked for change. The employee walked to the register and opened it so they could make change. The suspect pulled a black semi auto handgun from underneath his jacket and demanded cash. The employee complied and the suspect obtained an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect left the restaurant and headed in an unknown direction. No vehicle was seen leaving the scene.
The suspect is described as a White male, late 20’s to early 30’s, 5’8” to 5’10” tall, short hair, clean shaven, wearing a dark colored jacket with a black long sleeve shirt underneath, jeans, gray baseball hat with dark colored bill, and white and gray shoes.

Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward to anyone with information that leads to an arrest in this case.
