Suspect Wanted for Robbing Same Gas Station On Del Sol Blvd Five Times

San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the San Diego Police Department’s Robbery Unit are asking for assistance from the public to help identify and locate a suspect wanted in connection with a commercial robbery.

Detectives said an unknown suspect has robbed the Arco Gas Station at 3724 Del Sol Blvd, San Diego, five times between the dates of November 21, 2012 and July 19, 2013.  Between the hours of 10 p.m. and 1 a.m., the suspect casually enters the store and approaches the sales counter.  In the first three cases, the suspect threatened the clerk with a kitchen knife.  In the last two cases, the suspect holds his left hand inside his hooded sweatshirt simulating a handgun.  The suspect has spoken in Spanish and English and has only robbed female clerks.  After each robbery, the suspect leaves on foot westbound towards the Del Sol Apartments at 3662 Del Sol Blvd.

Suspect Description: Hispanic male, 25-35 years old, 5’03” - 5’06” tall, medium build, black hair or occasionally shaved head, brown eyes, crooked teeth, thin mustache.

Anyone with information on the identity or location of the suspect is asked to call the SDPD Robbery Unit at (619) 531-2299 or the Crime Stoppers anonymous tip line at (888) 580-8477.
