San Diego County Crime Stoppers and the San Diego Police Department Homicide Unit continue to look for leads in the unsolved homicide of Ernesto Gonzalez.

On Saturday, November 30, 2013, at approximately 11:27 p.m., Ernesto Gonzalez was shot and killed in the 7100 block of El Cajon Boulevard. According to witnesses, Gonzalez was working as a security guard at Chelato’s Bar and Grill. Gonzalez was standing in front of the business when two suspects approached, then walked towards him shooting. The suspects are described as males wearing dark clothing and were last seen east bound from the scene towards 72nd Street.
