Unknown Suspect Wanted for Sexual Assault

Up to $1,000 Reward Offered

San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the San Diego Police Department’s Sex Crimes Unit are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating the suspect responsible for a sexual assault in the Encanto area.

On May 21, 2017, at approximately 8:40 a.m., an unknown adult male suspect entered a motor home, which was parked in a driveway of a residence located in the 500 block of 60th Street, in San Diego. The adult female victim woke up and saw the suspect standing over her. The suspect sexually assaulted the victim. The victim screamed and pushed the suspect away from her. The suspect left the motorhome and fled the area on foot.  

Suspect Description:

The suspect is described as a Black male, mid 20’s, 5’8” to 5’9” tall, weighing 180 to 190 lbs., with brown hair and brown eyes. 

 

Anyone with information on the identity or location of the suspect is asked to call SDPD’s Sex Crime Unit at (619) 531-2210 or the Crime Stoppers anonymous tip line at (888) 580-8477.  Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward to anyone with information that leads to an arrest in this case.
