Wanted Homicide Suspects: Twin Brothers Anibal Avila and Edward Avila

San Diego County Crime Stoppers and the San Diego Police Department Homicide Unit continue to look for leads to help locate homicide suspects Anibal Avila and Edward Avila.

On April 11, 2013, at approximately 2:46 p.m., patrol officers responded to a 911 call of a shooting in the west alley of 4000 39th Street in the Corridor neighborhood. When officers arrived they found two adult male victims suffering from gunshot wounds and lying on the ground in the alley. Both males were transported to a local hospital by medics. One of the victims, later identified as 34 year old Rafael Robles, died shortly after arriving at the hospital.

The suspects have been identified as twin brothers Anibal Avila (DOB: 05/22/1991) and Edward Avila (DOB: 05/22/91). Both suspects remain at large and could have possibly fled to Mexico.
