Suspect Wanted for Commercial Armed Robbery

UP TO $1000 REWARD

San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the San Diego Police Department’s Robbery Unit are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating the suspect responsible for an armed robbery that occurred in the Nestor area of San Diego.

On Thursday, January 19th, 2023, at about 3:50 p.m., a female suspect robbed the 7-11 located at 2295 Palm Avenue, in San Diego. The suspect was armed with a black semi-automatic handgun and used it to threaten the clerk. The suspect left the location with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Suspect’s Description:

The suspect in this case is believed to be a Hispanic female, 25-30 years of age, wearing a white t-shirt, gray sweatpants, and house slippers.

Gabriel Raymond Valencia (26) is a local fugitive with two outstanding felony warrants totaling $75,000 for auto theft and possession of metal knuckles.  Additionally, Valencia has another two outstanding misdemeanor warrants totaling $10,000 for possession of narcotic controlled substance.  Valencia has prior arrests for possession of narcotic controlled substance and vandalism.  Valencia has an unknown tattoo on the right side of his neck and a tattoo of “Analiah” on the left side of his head. Valencia is known to frequent National City and Chula Vista. 

Suspect Captured for Felony Battery

San Diego County Crime Stoppers along with investigators from the San Diego Police Department’s Western Division are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating an unknown suspect involved in a felony battery case in the Midway area. 

On April 6, 2019, at approximately 7:00 p.m., an adult male victim parked his vehicle along the side of Arby’s restaurant located at 3777 Midway Drive, in San Diego. When the victim parked his vehicle, he inadvertently cut off another driver. The victim went inside the Arby’s and got into an argument with the other driver (suspect). During the argument, the suspect punched the victim eight times in the head. When the victim fell down on the ground, the suspect stomped oh his head with his feet. 

The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was treated for an orbital fracture. The suspect fled the area in an unknown vehicle. 

Suspect’s Description: 

The suspect is described as a White male, approximately 30-years-old, muscular build, short hair with the sides and back of his head shaved, was wearing a long sleeved black Nike shirt, black shorts, and black tennis shoes with white soles.

San Diego County Crime Stoppers along with investigators from the San Diego Police Department’s Northern Division are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspects involved in a felony assault in the Pacific Beach area. 

On April 1, 2019, at 1:30 a.m., an adult male victim got into an argument with a group of unknown males in front of the Backyard Bar and Grill located at 832 Garnet Avenue, in San Diego. During the argument, one of the males punched the victim three times in his face. The victim walked across the street to get away from the group of males. 

The males followed the victim across the street and repeatedly kicked and punched him while he was lying on the ground. The suspects fled the scene before police arrived. The victim was transported to a local hospital and suffered major head trauma including fractures to his face. The victim required reconstructive surgery of his face due to the severity of his injuries.

Suspect Captured for Commercial Armed Robbery

San Diego County Crime Stoppers along with investigators from the San Diego Police Department’s Robbery Unit captured the suspect wanted for a commercial armed robbery of a Shell gas station located in the Golden Hill area of San Diego. 

On January 31, 2019, at 4:26 a.m., an unknown male suspect entered the Shell gas station located at 2484 F Street, in San Diego. The suspect approached the counter and pointed a handgun at the clerk while demanding money from the cash register. The clerk complied and the suspect fled the business on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. 

Suspect’s Description: 

The suspect is described as a Black male, 5’05”- 5’06” tall, weighs 200 to 250 lbs., unshaven, wearing a black beanie, black hooded sweatshirt, gloves, black pants, and dark colored tennis shoes with white soles.

 Caleb Denney is wanted by the San Diego Fugitive Task Force for an outstanding felony warrant ($50,000 bail) for felon in possession of a firearm.  Denney has previous convictions for being under the influence of a controlled substance and for possession of a controlled substance.  Denney is known to frequent the North County area including Carlsbad.

San Diego County Crime Stoppers along with investigators from the San Diego Police Department’s Robbery Unit captured the suspect for commercial armed robbery suspect. 

On 12/19/2018, at 10:34 a.m., a male suspect entered the Game Stop store located at 3425 Murphy Canyon Road, in San Diego. The suspect lifted up his shirt and displayed a silver colored revolver in his waistband to the clerk and demanded money from the register. The clerk complied and the suspect fled the store on foot in an unknown direction.

On 12/23/2018, at 9:23 a.m., the same suspect entered the Game Stop store located at 4403 University Avenue, in San Diego. As the suspect was walking towards the counter, an employee recognized the suspect from the robbery on 12/19 at the Murphy Canyon Road location. The employee told another employee to call security. The suspect fled the store on foot in an unknown direction. 

On 12/23/2018, at 11:22 a.m., the same suspect entered the Subway restaurant located at 8080 Clairemont Mesa Blvd., in San Diego. The suspect lifted up his shirt and simulated that he had a gun in his waistband. The suspect demanded cash from the clerk. The clerk complied and the suspect fled the store on foot in an unknown direction. 

Suspect’s Description: 

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 30 to 35-years-old, 5’7” to 5”9” tall, 180 to 200 lbs. In the first case, the suspect was wearing a white constriction hat, construction glasses, and dark blue or black bandana on his head underneath the hat, black “dickie” style pants, and black tennis shoes with white soles. 

During the second and third case, the suspect wore an Anaheim Angels baseball hat, sunglasses, dark colored shirt with black “Dickie” style pants, and grey tennis shoes. During the third case (Subway), the suspect was wearing an orange construction vest.

Suspect Wanted for Lewd & Lascivious Acts with Minors

San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the San Diego Police Department’s Child Abuse Unit are asking for assistance from the public to help identify and locate the suspect responsible for committing lewd and lascivious acts with two minors at the Kaiser Zion Hospital in San Diego. 

On August 25, 2018, at approximately 10:40 a.m., an unknown adult male suspect got into an elevator inside the Kaiser Zion Hospital located at 4647 Zion Avenue, in San Diego. Two 13-year-old females were already inside the elevator when the suspect entered it. While inside the elevator, the suspect attempted to hug and kiss both victims. The suspect did kiss one of the victim’s hair and told both of them that they “looked pretty.” The suspect told both victims that he wanted to have sex with them. 

The elevator stopped on the main lobby floor, where the suspect got out. The suspect was last seen leaving the lobby area and headed towards the parking lot. The victims reported the crime to family who then called the San Diego Police Department. The suspect had fled the area before officers arrived.

James Bartholomew is wanted by the California Parole Apprehension Team for violating the terms and conditions of his parole.  Bartholomew is currently on parole from a sexual assault conviction.  Bartholomew has previous convictions for parole violations, failing to register as a sex offender, indecent exposure, possession of a dirk or dagger, and for assault with the intent to commit rape.  Bartholomew is known to frequent beach areas near Point Loma and the Sports Arena.

Jonathan Alexander Guerrero has a felony no bail warrant for escaping from  a court ordered work furlough program. He is also the suspect in the theft of an air compressor that occurred in Lakeside on February 9, 2016.  The compressor is valued at $600. At the time of the theft he was wearing a gray baseball cap, black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and black sneakers.

Jonathan Guerrero is believed to be homeless and is known  to frequent Lakeside.   He has one prior conviction for vandalism.
