Janice Macedonio is wanted by the San Diego Fugitive Task Force for a no bail felony warrant for homicide. She is wanted in the March 1, 2014 murder of Ruben Bodden, who was found dead inside his transmission repair shop on North Santa Fe Avenue in Vista. Janice was last seen in the company of her daughter who is now 7-8 years old.

Janice Macedonio has “Brooklyn” tattooed on her upper right chest.

She is known to frequent Vista, but detectives suspect she’s hiding out in Mexico.

Wanted: East Village Area Homicide Suspect

San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the San Diego Police Department’s Homicide Unit are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating a suspect involved in the murder of a business owner in the East Village area. 

On October 10, 2018, at approximately 3:42 p.m., the San Diego Police Communications Center received a 9-1-1 call from a customer who had entered a business in the 1000 block of G Street and found what he believed to be a deceased male. Patrol officers and San Diego Fire-Rescue personnel arrived approximately two minutes later. When the officers entered the business, they found 49-year-old Ghedeer Tony Radda down inside who had no pulse, was not breathing and had apparent trauma to his upper body. CPR was initiated, but unfortunately Radda succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at 4:04 p.m. 

San Diego Police Homicide Detectives were called to the scene and are investigating the incident. Based on information developed during their investigation, 51 year-old Kevin Eugene Cartwright was identified as the male suspect. Cartwright was arrested in the City of El Cajon on October 17th and was booked into jail for the murder. 

Cartwright was accompanied by a female suspect during the incident. She is described as a light skinned female wearing a purple wig. She was wearing a dark jacket and blue jeans. Investigators are still trying to identify the female suspect.

Unknown Suspect Wanted for Sexual Assault of a Child

Sheriff’s Department’s Child Abuse Unit are asking for assistance from the public to help identify and locate the suspect responsible for sexually assaulting of a child in Lemon Grove.

On Thursday, October 18th at about 2:00 a.m. in the 7000 block of Canton Drive in

Lemon Grove, a Black male adult entered the home of a family with two children. The male was discovered inside the home by the homeowners. A family member confronted the intruder and tried to restrain him but the intruder was able to escape. The intruder assaulted one of the young children in the home prior to fleeing.

The suspect is described as a Black male, 20-25 years old, standing about 5’07” tall, with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie and black gym pants. He may have arrived to the residence on a skateboard so he could be from the area.

Anthony Dupone is wanted by the California Department of Corrections and rehabilitation for failing to comply with the terms and conditions of his parole (no bail felony warrant).  Dupone is currently on parole due to a conviction for assault with a deadly weapon.  Dupone has previous convictions for assault with a deadly weapon, domestic violence, vandalism, check fraud, narcotics possession, burglary, auto theft, and multiple parole violations.  Dupone is known to frequent the North County area including Vista and Encinitas.

San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the Metro Arson Strike Team (MAST) are asking assistance from the public to help identify and locate the suspect who is responsible for a vehicle fire, which took place in the parking lot of the Iris Trolley Station located at 3120 Iris Avenue, in San Diego. 

On Friday, August 3, 2018, at about 8:30 a.m., an unidentified suspect was captured on video surveillance entering a yellow Ford Mustang while parked at the Iris Trolley Station. The suspect started a fire inside the vehicle and walked away.

Suspect Wanted for Violent Assault

Up to $10,000 Reward Offered

San Diego County Crime Stoppers along with investigators from the San Diego Police Department’s Central Division are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect who violently assaulted an adult male tourist while he was in the Gaslamp District of San Diego. 

On Saturday, August 11, 2018, between the hours of 1:30 a.m. and 2:00 a.m., a 22-year-old male tourist visiting San Diego was assaulted in the 600 block of 5th Avenue (between Market and G Streets) in Downtown San Diego’s Gaslamp District. Prior to the assault, both the victim and possibly the suspect were inside of the American Junkie gastro pub located at 628 5th Avenue. The victim was speaking to a group of people on the sidewalk next to the Route 29 restaurant (644 5th Avenue) when the suspect approached the victim and punched him in the face several times. The victim fell to the ground and the suspect continued punching the victim in his face several more times. The suspect fled the area in an unknown direction. Witnesses told police they believed some people had recorded the assault on their cellphones. 

As a result of the assault, the victim suffered a sinus fracture, several broken teeth, and facial injuries requiring surgery. 

Investigators are asking anyone who witnessed or may have video of this assault to please contact them.

An additional reward of $9,000 along with Crime Stoppers’ up to $1,000 reward is being offered to anyone who provides information that leads to an arrest in this case.

 Suspect’s Description: 

The suspect is described a Hispanic male, approximately 20-years-old, average height and build (5’10” to 5’11” and approximately 170 lbs.). He may have been in the company of a female companion who was present for, but not involved in the assault.

Sheriff’s Department’s San Marcos Station are asking for the public’s assistance in

identifying and locating an unknown suspect who robbed an adult male while he was

sitting in his vehicle.

On June 12, 2018, at about 7:40 p.m., the male victim parked his car in the Buffalo

Wild Wings parking lot, located at 1010 W. San Marcos Blvd in San Marcos. An

unknown male suspect, driving a light colored Nissan Versa, abruptly parked his car

behind the victim's car. The suspect then exited his car, approached the victim's car,

and opened the driver’s door. The suspect placed a 10-12 inch "Keyhole Saw" blade,

also known as a drywall saw, to the victim's neck and demanded his iPhone. The

suspect threatened to cut the victim up and forcefully removed the iPhone from the

victim's hand, before fleeing the area.

The victim provided a composite sketch of the suspect.

Suspect Description: The suspect was described as a White or Hispanic male between

the ages of 21-25, standing approximately 5'9-6'0 tall, with a thin build. He weighed

between 160-170lbs, had short wavy hair, dark eyes, and was clean shaven. He had

severe acne on his face. He was last seen wearing a black snap back hat, a . length

shirt and black cargo shorts.

Suspect Wanted in Old Town Area Homicide

San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the San Diego Police Department’s Homicide Unit are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating the suspect responsible for the murder of 65-year-old Steven Barnes. 

On July 21, 2018, at 2:04 a.m., officers with the San Diego Police Department responded to a report of an injured person in the 4500 block of Pacific Highway, in the Old Town area of San Diego. Officers located Steven Barnes lying on a sidewalk at that location. Barnes had sustained lacerations and trauma to his upper torso. San Diego Fire Department Paramedics responded to the scene and rendered first aid to Barnes. Despite their efforts, Barnes was pronounced deceased at the scene. 

Detectives from the San Diego Police Department’s Homicide Unit responded to the scene. Detectives were able to get suspect information during the course of their investigation. 

Suspect’s Description: 

The suspect is described as a light skinned male, possible Hispanic and Black or White and Black, 18 to 25-years-old, thin build, approximately 5’8” to 5’10” tall, goatee, and shoulder length dark colored hair. The suspect was last seen wearing tan Dickie style shorts with red stripes, light colored shirt, black backpack with white stripes, and was seen riding a yellow “OFO” bicycle.

Suspect Wanted for Violent Robbery

Up to $1,000 Reward Offered

San Diego County Crime Stoppers, along with investigators from the San Diego Police Department’s Southeastern Division, are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying and locating an unknown suspect who violently assaulted a store clerk and stole several items from a Shell Gas Station located in the Ridgeview/ Webster area of San Diego. 

On June 26, 2018, at about 9:30 p.m., an unknown male suspect walked into the Shell Gas Station located at 4405 Home Avenue, in San Diego. The suspect walked through the store and placed several food items inside a black bag. A clerk told the suspect that she saw him placing items inside of the bag he had with him. The clerk told the suspect that he needed to pay for all of the items. 

The suspect denied stealing anything. Another clerk approached the suspect and asked the suspect if he had something concealed in his bag. The suspect then punched the clerk once on the left side of his face causing the clerk to fall to the ground. The suspect then left the store and fled the area on foot in an unknown direction. 

The victim was transported to a local hospital and remained there for three days. The victim suffered a broken jaw and lost a tooth as a result of being punched. 

Suspects’ Description: 

Black male, 35 to 40-years-old, 5’7” to 5’8” tall, weighs 185 to 195 lbs., beard, wearing a zip-up style hooded jacket, gray striped shirt, gray sweatpants, white baseball style cap, and white tennis shoes. The suspect has a large tattoo (possible letters) on his upper chest.

Jeremy Eagleson is wanted by the San Diego Fugitive Task Force for two outstanding felony (no bail) warrants.  The warrants are for carrying a concealed dirk or dagger and for resisting arrest with violence/force against a peace officer.  Eagleson has previous convictions for possession of stolen property, possession of a controlled substance, DUI, carrying a concealed dirk or dagger, and for resisting arrest with violence/force against a peace officer.  Eagleson is known to frequent Escondido and Valley Center area.

Unknown Suspect Wanted for Felony Hit and Run

San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the San Diego Police Department’s Traffic Division are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating the driver that struck a parked vehicle in the Lincoln Park area of San Diego, causing major injuries to one of suspect’s passengers.  

On May 27, 2018, at approximately 4:50 a.m., an unidentified adult female was driving a gray 2010 Mazda 3 southbound on the 500 block of S. 47th Street, in San Diego. The female made a move to the right and struck an unoccupied parked SUV. The collision caused a 79-year-old male passenger, who was sitting unrestrained in the back seat of the Mazda, to be thrown forward striking the front passenger’s seat. A 39-year-old male passenger who was sitting in the front passenger’s seat suffered minor injuries.

The female driver got out of the Mazda and walked away from the scene before police arrived.  Medics transported the 79-year-old male to a local hospital for multiple major head and neck injuries. This male is not expected to survive his injuries.   

Suspect’s Description:

The suspect is described as a Black female, in her 50’s, wearing a long sleeve purple colored shirt, gray jeans with multiple rips in them, black socks and no shoes.

Unknown Suspect Wanted for Home Invasion Robbery and Assault in Oceanside

San Diego County Crime Stoppers, along with investigators from the Oceanside Police Department’s Crimes of Violence Unit, are asking for the public’s help in locating the suspect wanted in connection with a home invasion robbery and assault. 

On May 9, 2018, at about 5:30 p.m., Oceanside Police Officers responded to a report of a battery in the 500 block of Monterey Drive in Oceanside. Officers found the victim, a 64-year-old female, seriously battered and bloody.  She reported that an unknown male attacked her in her bedroom. The victim sustained life-threatening injuries and is currently recovering in the hospital.  Through the investigation, the male pictured below was identified as the suspect in this case. 

Suspect Description: The suspect is described as a Black male, about 30 to 35-years-old, standing 5’9” tall, and weighing about 160 lbs. He has a shaved head, goatee, mustache, and possibly pierced ears. He was last seen riding a red bike.

WANTED: Suspects Responsible for Vista Burglary

Up to $1,000 Reward

San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department’s Vista Station are asking for the public's help to identify and locate five unknown suspects wanted in connection with a burglary that occurred in the city of Vista.    

On April 21, 2018, at about 9:50 p.m., five unknown Black males burglarized the California Numismatic Funding business, located at 755 East Vista Way in Vista.  The suspects broke in through the back door and used crowbars to bypass a security gate.  The suspects ransacked the business taking antique coins and silver valued at approximately $35,000.  Video surveillance shows that the suspects arrived at the business in two vehicles; a small sedan and a minivan. 

These suspects may also be involved in similar burglaries across Southern California, targeting businesses dealing in antique coins.  

Description of Suspects: 
Suspect #1

is described as a Black male adult, 25 to 35-years old, standing 5’11” tall, and weighing 200 lbs.  He has a muscular build, is bald or has short hair, and was last seen wearing blue jean pants, a red collared shirt, tennis shoes, black gloves, red/black baseball cap with a "W" on it. He may have a tattoo on his upper right arm.

 
Suspect #2

is described as a Black male adult, 20 to 35-years-old, standing 5'11” tall, and weighing 180 lbs. He was last seen wearing a hoodie with "California Bear" on it, unknown colored pants, and a baseball cap. 


Suspect #3

is described as a Black male adult, 20 to 35-years-old, standing 5’11” tall, and weighing 180 lbs.  He was last seen wearing black and white shoes; shorts, blue long sleeve sweatshirt with white lines on it, baseball cap, and gloves.

WANTED: Female Suspect Using Counterfeit Money at Local Stores

Up to $1,000 Reward

San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the North Coastal Sheriff’s Station are asking for the public's help to identify and locate a female suspect wanted in connection with passing counterfeit bills at local businesses in the North County.    

On April 14, 2018, an unknown Hispanic woman used a counterfeit $100 bill at  Yogurt 101, located at 153 N. Highway 101 in Solana Beach.  She purchased $14.00 in food, paid with a counterfeit $100 bill, and received $86.00 in change from the clerk.  

On April 19, 2018, the same female suspect used a counterfeit $100 bill at Sun Splash, located at 2673 Via De La Valle in Del Mar. She purchased lotion for $21.00, paid with a counterfeit $100 bill and got $79.00 in change.

 The same suspect is also believed to have used a counterfeit $100 bill at a business in Carlsbad.  

Description of Suspect:  
The suspect is described as a 25 to 35-years-old Hispanic female who stands between 5’4” and 5’6” tall.  She has long, dark, wavy hair and a tattoo on the right side of her upper chest.  The suspect also appears to be pregnant.

Edgar Hernandez Saavedra

San Diego County Crime Stoppers, along with investigators from the Oceanside Police Department’s Homicide Unit, are asking for the public’s help in locating Edgar Hernandez Saavedra who is wanted in connection with the murder of 29-year-old Miguel Luis Castillo.

On August 20, 2016, at about 2:40 a.m., Edgar Hernandez Saavedra was arguing with Miguel Luis Castillo while they were standing in front of Edgar’s residence which is located on the 800 block of Langford Street in Oceanside.  During the argument, Edgar Hernandez Saavedra shot and killed Miguel Luis Castillo with a semi-automatic handgun.

 Edgar Hernandez Saavedra is a 29-year-old Hispanic male.  He has brown hair and brown eyes, stands about 5’6” tall and weighs 175 lbs.  He is a documented gang member who is also known as “Little Edgar” and “Smalls”.

Unknown Suspect Wanted for Attempted Homicide

Up to $1,000 Reward Offered 

San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the San Diego Police    Department’s Western Division are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating an unknown suspect who stabbed a victim multiple times in the Hillcrest area of San Diego.  

On April 8, 2018, at 7:18 p.m., San Diego Police Officers responded to a radio call of a stabbing at the intersection of Richmond Street and University Avenue, in San Diego. Officers found a 51-year-old male lying on the sidewalk who was suffering from multiple stab wounds to his head and neck area.  The victim was transported to a local hospital with life threatening injuries.  The victim remains hospitalized but is expected to survive.    

Investigators learned that the suspect was walking in the area approximately thirty minutes before the attack and appeared to be looking to fight a random person.  The suspect originally threw a rock towards the victim and left the area.  The suspect later saw the victim walking and began stabbing the victim multiple times in the head and neck.  The suspect fled the area before police arrived.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 25 to 35-years-old, 5’6” to 5’8” tall, thin build, wearing a dark colored baseball hat, dark gray sweatshirt, and gray sweatpants.

WANTED: Suspect Responsible for Identity Theft

an Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the North Coastal Sheriff’s Station are asking for the public's help to locate an unknown suspect wanted in connection with identity theft. 

On February 26, 2018, a resident of Encinitas called the North Coastal Sheriff’s Station to report that someone had stolen her identity and tried to withdraw money from her bank account.  The suspect also applied for, and received credit cards, in the victim’s name and made numerous charges on those fraudulent accounts. 

Detectives later determined that the same suspect has stolen the personal identities of several individuals throughout San Diego and Riverside Counties. The suspect uses fraudulently manufactured identification cards and assumes the victims’ identities to make transactions at retail stores and financial institutions. 

Two photographs of the suspect are attached on page two of this release.  They are from two separate incidents that occurred in the City of Encinitas and the City of Poway.  The person depicted is a White or Hispanic female, approximately 22 to 30 years of age, she had long red hair and may have green eyes. The suspect usually wears the same medical scrubs when using the victims’ information.
