San Diego County Crime Stoppers along with investigators from the San Diego Police
Department’s Sex Crimes Unit are asking for the public’s help in identifying and
locating an unknown suspect wanted for a sexual assault that occurred in the
Talmadge area of San Diego.
On March 22, 2019, at approximately 5:35 a.m., San Diego Police Officers responded
to a radio call of a sexual assault in the 4400 Block of 50th Street. After sexually
assaulting the adult female victim, the suspect demanded the victim give him her
money and car keys. The suspect subsequently stole the victim’s vehicle, which was
recovered unoccupied within one mile of the crime scene. After the victim could no
longer hear the suspect in her home, she ran to a neighbor’s home stating she had just
been sexually assaulted. The neighbor immediately called the police to report the
crime.
Officers arrived at the scene and located a male who matched the suspect’s
description on foot and was leaving the area of the victim’s home. The male fled
towards the west alley of 4400 50th Street. The officers lost sight of the suspect and
were unable to apprehend him. The investigation is ongoing.
Suspect’s Description:
The suspect is described as a Black male, 25 to 30-years-old, 6’0” tall, 230 to 250 lbs.,
muscular build, clean shaven, short black wavy hair, wearing a black jacket with white
along the shoulders and chest, and blue jeans. The suspect had a deep voice.
