Up to $1,000 Reward Offered

San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the San Diego Sheriff’s Office Vista Station are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating the vehicle and suspect(s) that fled a shooting in the City of Vista.

On August 15, 2026, at about 7:23 p.m., deputies from the San Diego Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a possible drive-by shooting on the 400 block of Vista Village Drive in the City of Vista. The suspect(s) shot in the direction of the 2N1 Korean BBQ restaurant, which resulted in one adult-male victim being struck by gunfire. Responding deputies located a bullet impact that entered through the exterior window of the restaurant. The victim sustained non-fatal injuries and was treated on scene.

Detectives believe the gunshot originated from a passing vehicle. Detectives are requesting any assistance from the community in locating any additional witnesses, video, or other evidence regarding this shooting.
