Suspect Wanted for Felony Hit and Run

San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the San Diego Police Department’s Traffic Division are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating the vehicle and driver that fled the scene of a traffic collision leaving a 71-year-old victim with serious injuries in the Mission Valley area of San Diego. 

On April 14, 2021, at about 2:13 p.m., a 71-year-old female was walking near the front entrance of the Lowe’s located at 2318 Northside Drive, in San Diego. As the female was walking, she was struck by an unknown suspect who was driving a 2003 gold colored Honda Accord. The driver did not stop to check on the victim or call for help and fled the scene immediately. A witness followed the suspect, but lost sight of the vehicle once they reached the North Park area of San Diego. 

The victim sustained a fractured right femur and multiple head lacerations. The victim was transported to a local hospital and remains in serious condition. 

Suspect’s Vehicle Info: 

The suspect’s vehicle is described as a 2003 gold colored 4-door Honda Accord with California license plate “4ZNN918”. The vehicle will have moderate front end damage and possibly damage to the right side of the front windshield. Investigators are asking vehicle repair shops to be on the lookout for this vehicle.

Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward to anyone with information that leads to an arrest in this case.
