Suspects Wanted for Attempted Murder of Victim shown in photo

UP TO $1000 REWARD

San Diego County Crime Stoppers along with investigators from the Oceanside Police Department are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating unknown suspects involved in an attempted murder case in Oceanside. 

On December 11, 2019, at approximately 5:49 p.m., Oceanside Police Officers responded to a report of a stabbing in the 200 block of Neptune Way, Oceanside. Officers arrived on scene and located a male lying on the ground with multiple stab wounds. The victim, later identified as Fred Flores, is a transient male known to frequent the area. Flores was transported to a local hospital where he currently remains in a medically-induced coma. 

Investigators are asking members of the public who were at this location during this incident or have any information to contact them. 

Suspect Descriptions: 

Suspect #1: described by a witness as a White or Hispanic male, approximately 25-years-old, about 5’7” to 5’10” tall, with a stocky build, short brown hair, wearing a light-colored red/white/blue plaid flannel, or “Pendleton” type jacket, and dark colored blue jeans. 

Suspect #2: described as having the same build and appearance as Suspect #1, but wearing a solid white t-shirt. 

Both suspects fled the area on foot.

Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward to anyone with information that leads to an arrest in this case.
