Two Year Anniversary of the Unsolved Murder of Jonathan Shields-Pullum $1,000 Reward Offered

San Diego County Crime Stoppers along with investigators from the San Diego Police Department’s Homicide Unit are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating the suspect(s) responsible for the murder of 20-year-old Jonathan Shields Pullum.
On June 17, 2023, there was a planned Juneteenth celebration at Liberty Station located at 2455 Cushing Road, in San Diego. At approximately 6:47 p.m., San Diego Police Officers along with San Diego Fire-Rescue personnel responded to a report of a shooting in the crowd at the Juneteenth event. Officers found 20-year-old Jonathan Shields-Pullum lying on the ground suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Shields Pullum was transported to a local hospital, but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries. A second victim was shot in the leg and was transported to a local hospital where he was treated and released.
San Diego Police Homicide Detectives were called to the scene and began investigating the incident. Investigators are still trying to determine the circumstances which led to the shooting and are asking anyone who witnessed this shooting to contact them.
