Up to $1,000 Reward Offered
San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the San Diego Police Department’s Traffic Division are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating the vehicle and driver that fled the scene of a traffic collision leaving a female pedestrian with severe injuries in the Oak Park neighborhood in the City of San Diego.
On Sunday, February 11, 2024, at about 6:07 p.m., a 41-year-old female pedestrian was hit by an unknown vehicle in the southbound lanes of 3000 54th Street. The driver of the vehicle did not identify themselves and fled the scene. After the initial collision, the victim remained in the street along the center median and may have been struck by other vehicles.
Video evidence shows the suspect’s vehicle is possibly a light-colored small van or SUV. Detectives are asking for any information regarding the identification of the suspect or suspect’s vehicle. Detectives are also asking for any witnesses who may have seen the collision or events surrounding the collision to come forward.
Suspect’s Vehicle Description:
The vehicle description is unknown, but possibly a light-colored small van or SUV. It could have minor to moderate damage to its driver’s side.
