Two Year Anniversary of the Murder of Abram Santos

San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators with the San Diego Police Department’s Homicide Unit are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating the suspect(s) responsible for the murder of 37-year-old Abram Santos.

On February 13, 2022, just after 5:00 p.m., the California Highway Patrol Border Communications Center received a 911 call regarding a possibly deceased person just off the roadway at southbound I-805 at the 43rd Street off-ramp in the Mountain View area. When Highway Patrol Officers arrived at the scene, they found a male (later identified as 37-year-old Abram Santos of San Diego) down in the brush with apparent trauma to his upper body. San Diego Fire-Rescue personnel arrived on scene, but unfortunately, Santos was pronounced deceased at the scene.

San Diego Police Homicide Detectives were notified of the death and assumed the investigation. Little is known about the circumstances surrounding Santos’ death, but detectives believe he was killed elsewhere, and his body was left at this location.
