Crime Stoppers: Hit and Run - Encinitas

UP TO $1000 REWARD

The North Coastal Sheriff's Station and San Diego County Crime Stoppers want your help in identifying and locating a suspect involved in a deadly hit and run in Encinitas.

On January 1 just before 12:30 a.m., 23-year-old David Dilma and a female companion were struck by a vehicle while running in the intersection of North Coast Highway 101 and Encinitas Boulevard. The driver of the vehicle did not stop to check on the victims and fled the scene.

Unfortunately, Dilma died from his injuries.

The suspect's vehicle is described as a black Chrysler/Dodge minivan.

A left side rear view mirror (see photo below) belonging to the suspect's vehicle was located at the scene of the incident.
