Suspect Wanted for Felony Hit and Run

Up to $1,000 Reward Offered

San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the San Diego Police Department’s Traffic Division are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating the vehicle and driver that fled the scene of a traffic collision resulting in the death of a 61-year-old victim in the Morena area of San Diego.

On December 30, 2022, at about 6:05 p.m., a 61-year-old male was walking across 1200 Tecolote Road in San Diego. As the male was walking, he was struck by an unknown suspect who was driving northbound on Tecolote Road. The driver did not stop to check on the victim or call for help and fled the scene immediately.

The victim sustained serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital where he died from his injuries a few days later.

Suspect’s Vehicle Info:

The suspect’s vehicle will have possible damage to the front end and the windshield. Investigators are also asking vehicle repair shops to be on the lookout for this vehicle.

Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward to anyone with information that leads to an arrest in this case.
