Suspect Wanted for Fatal Hit & Run

VICTIM: JUILIUS MARTIN VILLARU-BAUTISTA

San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the National City Police Department are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating the vehicle and driver that fled the scene of a fatal traffic collision in National City. 

On October 25, 2021, at about 7:10 p.m., 27-year-old Julius Martin Villaru-Bautista was walking in the 4000 block of Paradise Valley Road, National City. Bautista walked into the road when an unknown driver, traveling west struck Bautista. The suspect did not render aid or call 911 and fled the scene immediately. Bautista suffered multiple injuries as a result of the collision and passed away. 

Suspect Vehicle Description: 

The vehicle appears to be a silver colored Subaru or Mitsubishi with extensive front end damage, including a broken windshield. Witnesses provided a possible California license plate of 7ROK720 or 7RQK720.
