Suspect Wanted for Felony Hit and Run

San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the San Diego Police Department’s Traffic Division are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating the vehicle and driver that fled the scene of a traffic collision resulting in the death of a 76-year-old victim in the Shelltown area of San Diego and National City border. 

On November 13, 2021, at about 5:30 p.m., a 76-year-old male pedestrian was crossing 100 N. Highland Avenue near the intersection with Eta Street, when he was struck by a vehicle. The driver did not stop to check on the victim or call for help and fled the scene immediately. 

The victim sustained fatal injuries and died at the hospital. 

Suspect’s Vehicle Info: 

The suspect’s vehicle is described as a light colored 2010 or newer Nissan Juke with possible damage to the driver side mirror and fender.

Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward to anyone with information that leads to an arrest in this case.
