Suspects Wanted for Felony Vandalism

UP TO $1000 REWARD

San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the San Diego State University Police Department are asking for assistance from the public to help identify and locate two suspects wanted for vandalizing a menorah and a sign in front of the Chabad House located at 6115 Montezuma Road, San Diego.

On June 5, 2021, at approximately 1:30 a.m., two unknown females walked up to the front of the Chabad House Jewish Student Center. One of the females tore a large piece off of a banner on the front of the building. The other female broke the arm off of a large metal menorah located on the front lawn. After visiting the Trujillo’s Mexican Restaurant, the females were last seen walking eastbound on Montezuma Road toward East Falls View Drive. The total damage to the banner and menorah is estimated at $1,200.

Suspect Descriptions:

Suspect #1 is described as a White female, early 20s, long brown hair, wearing a green sweater with white letters on the front that read “Hawaii,” unknown letters on the back, shorts, and sandals.

Suspect #2 is described as a White female, early 20s, long brown hair (almost down to the waist), wearing jeans, and a dark colored long sleeve top. Additionally, the two suspects were with a group of three other females, one of whom was wearing pants with the left pant leg completely white and the right leg completely black. Any help in identifying these witnesses would also help our investigation.

In its continued work to combat antisemitism and all forms of hate, the Anti-Defamation League is offering an additional $1,000 reward for information leading to the identity and prosecution of the perpetrators of this vandalism.
