Two Year Anniversary of the Unsolved Homicide of Mario Bullard

San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the San Diego Police Department’s Homicide Unit are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating the suspect responsible for the murder of 35-year-old Mario “Tony” Bullard. 

On May 21, 2019, at approximately 2:52 a.m., San Diego Police Officers responded to a report of gunshots heard in the area of the 6200 block of Holabird Street, in the Grantville area of San Diego. Officers arrived within two minutes of receiving the radio call and found a male, later identified as Mario “Tony” Bullard laying down in the street. Bullard was suffering from at least one apparent gunshot wound. San Diego Fire-Rescue also responded to the location however, Bullard succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. San Diego Police Homicide Detectives were called to the scene and began investigating the incident. 

Suspect’s Description: 

The suspect is described as a light skinned male, unknown age, approximately 5’6” tall, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a white logo on the front, black pants, backpack, and was last seen running westbound on Vandever Avenue towards Mission Gorge Road.
