Unidentified Suspect Wanted for Kidnapping and Sexual Assault

San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the San Diego Police Department’s Sex Crimes Unit are asking for assistance from the public to help identify and locate an unidentified suspect wanted for kidnapping and sexual assault.

On August 13, 2022, at about 2:10 a.m., a 24-year-old female victim was walking alone in the area of the 1400 block of Pacific Beach Drive, San Diego. An unidentified male suspect drove up to the victim, asked her if she was lost, and offered her a ride. The victim declined the suspect’s offer and continued walking. Moments later, the suspect approached the victim from behind, took her by force, and placed her into his car. The suspect then drove the victim to a location near Oliver Avenue and Everts Street, San Diego, where he sexually assaulted her inside the vehicle. The suspect then drove the victim to the 2100 block of Pacific Beach Drive where she was able to exit the vehicle and flee. The suspect fled the area. The victim reported the assault to the San Diego Police Department.

Suspect’s Description:

The victim described the suspect as a light-skinned Hispanic male, between 30 to 40-years-old, 200 lbs., 5’6” to 5’7” tall, with short, dark brown hair, a receding hairline, a mustache, and he was wearing a white or tan shirt and shorts. The victim described the suspect’s vehicle as an older model tan or gold-colored sedan.
