Suspect for Arson

San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the Metro Arson Strike Team (MAST) are asking assistance from the public to help identify and locate the suspect who is responsible for a vehicle fire, which took place in the City Heights area of San Diego. 

On Monday, March 9, 2020, at 4:16 a.m., an unknown suspect walked to the east alley of the 4100 block of Highland Avenue and set a Ford Ranger pickup truck on fire. The fire engulfed the truck and damaged the carport where the vehicle was parked. The suspect then walked east on the 4400 block of Orange Avenue and fled the scene. The damage to the vehicle and carport is estimated at $13,000. 

Suspect’s Description: 

The suspect is described as a possible Hispanic male, wearing a dark t-shirt, blue jeans, red shoes, and a dark cap with an unknown logo on it.

Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward to anyone with information that leads to an arrest in this case.
