Unknown Suspect Wanted for Fatal Hit and Run

UP TO A $1000 REWARD

San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the San Diego Police Department’s Traffic Division are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating the driver responsible for a fatal hit and run collision that occurred in the Barrio Logan area of San Diego. 

On November 15, 2019, at approximately 11:00 a.m., a 52-year-old female pedestrian (victim) was walking westbound on the north sidewalk of the 700 block of Cesar Chavez Parkway. The driver (suspect) of a white Ford F-150 truck was stopped (facing westbound) along Cesar Chavez Parkway for a red traffic signal at the intersection with Kearney Avenue. The victim entered the north side of the crosswalk at the intersection of Cesar Chavez Parkway and Kearney Avenue. The suspect drove westbound on Cesar Chavez Parkway and then made a right turn onto Kearney Avenue. The suspect struck the victim in the crosswalk, which caused her to fall onto the roadway. The suspect did not stop to render aid or call 911. The suspect fled the scene and was last seen driving northbound on Kearney Avenue. 

The victim was unresponsive when paramedics arrived. The victim suffered major injuries from being struck and was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment. On November 17, 2019, the victim succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced deceased at the hospital. 

Suspect’s Vehicle Description: 

The suspect’s vehicle is described as a 1997 to 2004 white Ford F-150 truck with stock wheels.

Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward to anyone with information that leads to an arrest in this case.
