Suspect Wanted for Felony Hit and Run Up to $1,000 Reward Offered

San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the San Diego Police Department’s Traffic Division are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating the vehicle and driver that fled the scene of a traffic collision leaving a pedestrian with serious injuries in the Gaslamp area of Downtown San Diego.
On Friday, May 2, 2025, at about 1:10 a.m., a 52-year-old male was pushing a cart and walking in the eastbound traffic lanes of G St between 4th Ave. and 5th Ave., when he was struck by a black vehicle that had been driving eastbound. The driver of the vehicle left the pedestrian on the roadway with a serious head injury and fled the scene. The victim was transported to a local hospital.
Suspect’s Vehicle Description
Videos were obtained that shows the involved vehicle. The damage to the vehicle will be to the passenger side.
