 San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the San Diego Metro Arson Strike Team (MAST) are asking for the public’s assistance to help identify and locate the person responsible for starting a fire to a business, which occurred in the Talmadge area of San Diego. 

On January 12, 2020, at approximately 12:30 a.m., an unknown suspect rode a bicycle up to the front doors of AA Fashion, located at 4644 El Cajon Boulevard, in San Diego. 

The suspect set the business on fire, causing damage estimated at $1,000,000 and is a total loss. 

Suspect’s Description:

The suspect is described as an unknown race male, wearing a baseball cap, a waist length coat, and dark shoes with white soles. The suspect was riding a BMX-style bicycle with what appears to be a plastic shopping bag hanging from the handle bars.

Anyone with information on the identity and or location of the suspect is asked to call the San Diego Metro Arson Strike Team at (619) 236-6815 or the Crime Stoppers anonymous tip line at (888) 580-8477. Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward to anyone with information that leads to an arrest in this case.
